I wouldn't count on a COLA for 2-3 more years anyway. That was the last I heard.

Yea, you didn't get a check? Call them. My mom even got one and she's on retirement SS, Jim did too and he's SSDI.

They gave out $250 for 2010. Nothing for 2011......you know, seeing as it's not here yet :p

If I was approved for SSDI effective 2/09 should I have received the $250 check everyone is talking about. I just received my back pay 6/10 and now my children's 9/10

I received my approval letter in late October 2009(onset date June 2007) and the first check I received was for 250 dollars. I think that was for the year 2008. You can always call SSA (800 #) and ask them.
