Do you believe ...

In Aliens? I don't mean the ones from Canada or Mexico, but from space?

There have been SO many conspiracy theory's about it. Is the government hiding them? Do they know more than we do?

And with the new series "The Event" on TV, I thought it would be fun to bring it up.

So, what is your opinion, and why?

After seeing that new episode from the Discovery or Science Channel show Universe, about quantum mechanics and the possibility of a "creator"...
I think that those arguments are the most persuasive yet!

Dark matter??? (confuses me) and the new "string"theories of
alternate universes existing along side each other!!! confusing too.

If they rerun it, don't miss it! There were 2 episodes that dealt with this topic, all involving famous physicists, etc.

Well I voted yes, im one myself. Just can not seem to find my spaceship! Actually no even though I said yes, geeze give me a break. When 1 of them comes down and shares a cup of coffee and a smoke with me in the morning then I would probably believe in them.

I voted no. i normally have a very open mind, and am quite likey to hear folks out, but I would think that IF it was possible, with all of the space exploration, we would have seen some sort of life by now. We have done exhaustive studies, and no one has proved a thing in many decades of folks making claims.

btw, why is it so many folks claim **** probes?:confused:

I said maybe, but I agree with Dej......you think we would have seen one in person by now??? Of course, I haven't seen God and I believe in him/her.:)

Let's start a fund to bribe Tom to tell us the truth, I think he knows as a NASA employee that they have friends from "out there" but don't think he will tell us unless we pay him off. :)

Yeah, I'm not surprised a bit. the poll also asked what planet you are from? Come on, do you have any special powers? :)

:::First off- this is meant as humor- NOT to hurt her feelings:::

For decades people have hoped there was life on other planets, and that life was more advanced and intelligent than we are.

... not that we know Wiz is from another planet, we can all safely say- that is not the case.
:cool::hug::hug::hug::hug:<rim shot>

***runs away to hide**** This outta be a good old fashioned smack down. :D

Becca44 10-03-2010 04:36 PM

Sure! I believe there's life on other planets in other galaxies. ... but as far as they're concerned, maybe WE'RE the a-l-i-e-n-s, right? :) I just think given the expanse of the universe, the mysteries of the cosmos, etc.... it doesn't make logical sense to think we're the only living creatures. I mean... what a waste of a big bang that woulda been!!!
