Stanford TOS Surgeons
Any info on Stanford? Do they not perform these surgeries?
I've read about failed surgeries from UCSF and the other one at Pacific Med. I have not read anything negative on Stanford. Thnx, Anne |
I don't have any first hand knowledge on this -
but their site has this - under Vascular and Endovascular Surgery [ from clinical and research interests in vascular athletic injuries particularly TOS, external iliac endofibrosis in cyclists, and popliteal entrapment in runners.] http://vascular.stanford.edu/ [ Interesting Cases * Venous intervention new! * TOS First Rib new! * Short neck AAA (Zenith) new! * Sarcoma new! * Radial Artery Aneurysm new! * IVC Reconstruction new! * Failed EVAR new! * Exvivo RAA new! * External Iliac Arteriopathy new! * Bypass Pseudoaneurysm new! * Axillary Injury new! * Aortic Endarterectomy new! ] http://vascular.stanford.edu/educati..._first_rib.pdf |
Thnx for the info.
Could be reason why I've heard nothing negative since it looks like they are treating non-neurological cases. |
