Post Concussive Syndrome

I received a hairline fracture at C3 in January, 2010. I also suffered from a concussion. I now have a range of weird Neuro symptoms. I have a constant tingling sensation everywhere (worse in my feet) My face has odd temperature sensations, and I am very sensitive to touch. My own hair brushing across my face sends me up the wall. I am chronically tired, yet have insomnia. I cannot tolerate the heat on a hot day. All of this is very distressing because I love the outdoors, and am an avid equestrian. I may need to sell my horse, as a result of all of this. My neuro exams are all negative. I am being told this is most likely post concussive syndrome, and there is no cure and no treatment. I'm worried that I won't improve, as it has been 8 months since my fall down the stairs. Is there no hope?!:(
