hi all
Hi all tomorrow will be 9 weeks since my TOS surgery. I had the full monty, all three procedures. I am just now able to go without pills for pain. I have made it almost all day. I am in physical therapy and it has really helped with my mobility. I had gone through a cervical spine surgery with a disc fusion just 11 months prior. My prior doctor felt that was the underlying conditon that caused the numbness and pain in my arm and hand. When the systoms returned is when he referred me to the thorciac surgeon. My advice to anyone thinking of having the surgery, get a second opinion. It is a very painful surgery, thank goodness for good drugs. I am getting better everyday, I still have good days and bad days. thanks for listening, i joined to talk to others like me. I had a break down, because of the pain pills, the pain and not being able to live my life during recovery. ok enough for now.

Hi Sadie,
Welcome, I had TOS in 1977 and have full surgery too. It was long ago, so in time you will forget the bad times and pain. I hope you are feeling better now.:) Nice to meet you. |
