Hubby finally related to my symptom!!!
He was watching an episode of the new show Detroit (something). Anyway just after the show began he exclaimed, "AHHH I can't take this show!!!"
When I asked him what was the matter he said, "the camera goes from one thing to another in rapid succession and close up and it drives me nuts....makes me feel dizzy!" then it hit me....OMG....thats exactly how I feel sometimes and I haven't been able to describe it anyone.....its a sense of being "off" and feeling dizzy-ish and I can't focus on anything. Its like everything is no longer in sync. Things around me are no longer "one" with me. Ahhhh.....validation.........here, honey......have an ativan. |
I'm always just like you when somebody finally "gets" one of my symptoms. Doing the happy dance!
Not to be a buzz kill, but....then I start wondering when somebody will "get" the imaginary creepy-crawlies, the crushing fatigue, the feeling that I'm falling over when I'm not....and so on. ANYway, I'm going to remember (I hope) your experience, so I can sometime say to somebody, "You know that show, Detroit Something....well, that's what I mean. Go watch it!" Doesn't it feel good to score once in a while? Validation is sweet. :D |
Great, Karilann..:)
It not just the Detroit show, it's almost every damn show and the crazy commercials inbetween. EEEEEK!!!:Crazy 2::Sinking::paperbag::vomit2::vomit: If I try to stand or take a step in a dimmed room with the TV on, I can't do it or I would fall immediately. It's just awful. This world is going to hell in a hand basket.. :p |
Excellent comparison, Karilann. I will have to remember that. Very hard to describe that off feeling.
