No hyperlinks in Verizon Webmails ?????

I had no trouble up until I got on the computer earlier.

Before, when I got an email annoucement (let's say from Neurottalk), saying "someone has replied to a thead".....and it provided a blue hyperlink, then I would click on the hyperlink and automatically be directed to Neurotalk.

Any other time, in any of my Verizon Wemails, I would get a blue hyperlink and it would work.

Just now, I saw a reply and it was not A BLUE HYPERLINK.

I said "What the???"

I had to copy and paste. Now I'm not being lazy, I just want to know what I have to do to get my hyperlinks to become hyperlinks again.

I have Firefox as my browser by the way, (if that means anything).

I did do a search online but honestly, WAY OVER MY HEAD.

I kind of thought there might be a place UP TOP, where I click on tools, or some option, and I might see a place to click on "Enable hyperlinks"

Is there such an option?

Thanks much

Melody

I've had that happen in Yahoo a few times. But usually they do come back.

See what happens in a few days?

They come back??

Where did they go?

oh my god, I have a thing in my computer THAT I DON'T KNOW IS THERE, and it takes away the hyperlink option, and then in a few days, it brings it back??

Spooky!!

You can't tell me this has nothing to do with 1947 and Roswell New Mexico.

I will never believe that we invented all this technology.

lol

I think it has to do with stuff they are doing at the email extension... updates or whatever. ;)

I still think it's aliens!!

Oh, Mrs. D, one quick question, off topic but on a topic we discussed on another forum, but since I'm here right not, I just want to know something.

Can a person sit by a window that is in direct sunlight and get Vitamin D (without going outside). For example, if it's 2 degrees outside, but the sun is shining, can Alan go and sit by the Living Room window and get his Vitamin D that way.

I got him out today and it was lovely outside.

Thanks much

No, I am sorry.... the answer is NO...

The glass filters out the UV which is what makes the Vit D.

Wow, and I thought I asked a really stupid question. I really thought you would reply and say: "Oh absolutely, the sun is the sun and it doesn't matter where you sit as long as you are in the rays of the sun....and I'M SO GLAD I ASKED THIS QUESTION. lol

Now Alan will have to get up earlier and GO OUTSIDE.

Thank you SO much for clarifying. I never would have thought it was a no.

As a matter of fact, I was all ready to put a chair by the window and have him sit there for 10 minutes. I even told him today.

Holy Cow.

Thanks much

Has Verizon been replaced by frontier.com in your area? Our locals have lost their verizon.net email addresses. Maybe that has something to do with what's happening to you?

No, I still have Verizon webmail. Don't see anything that says Frontier.com. I do however (and this is most annoying), when I first sign into Verizon Central, this annoying pop up add asking me if I want to go paperless, and some other pop up thing from Verizon, appears on my screen. ALWAYS when I bring up Verizon Central. I always x it out, but why the heck do they have to advertise when I am signing into my own webmail.

Brother, advertising is now taking over EVERYTHING.

Well, my Yahoo mail is now screwed up too!

It gives me a white page, about some "screen reader" blocking their cookies!

I have to click "disable screen reader" to get to my mail at all!

Mel...did you jinx me somehow! ;)

I don't even know what a screen reader is! :Dunno:
