I'm new to this site
 

I have polyneuropathy, it started 5 yrs. ago and progressed from my feet on up to the calfs, and then on into the spine and that is where most of my pain is at. I take neurontin for the pain in the feet and that pretty much helps w/that pain, but the back is another subject, the pain is pretty wicked most of the time. I take Ultram or Darvacet for pain depending on what level of pain I am having at that time. I had a son who had muscular dystrophy so am still being monitered for that as some of my symtons sort of lean towards that, my muscle biospy was not normal and I have alot of weakness in the legs and trunk, so as they say, I am "complicated". I just recently tried to change drs. to find somebody nearer to my home, but he wouldn't touch me, as I am again, complicated. I was so mad at him, but thankfully the dr. that was treating me took me back, but he is far away, so don't like the long drive, but oh well. Would like to hear from others with similiar symptons.
