I'm not sure what you mean by venous hum. I can hear my pulse in my left ear (when I wear ear plugs to sleep). My left side is my worst side. I also have congestion/plugged ear feeling on that side. Not sure if it's related to TOS or not.

I have ringing in my ears all the time

it's very important to know why you have tinnitus in the ear, pulsatile or not, or venous hum.

Do you know why you have this ?

I don't know, but when I was younger I was around a shooting range and didn't wear earplugs. The sound may have damaged my ears.

ok it's not from tos then

Is venous hum different from a bruit?

boytos 10-29-2010 07:03 PM
