HI Debra, I am sitting here right now with my TENs unit on. It helps me a lot with muscle spasms. I find that it helps with muscular problems more than pain. Good luck with your new unit, I hope it helps you as much as mine has helped me, Lisa

Tens Unit

I have been using my tens unit for 6 years now, and I wouldn't part with it, I wear mine 24/7 it doesn't stop the pain but it does definately cut down on how much I use some of my my pain meds on certain days. More like takes the edge off more. Good luck!

I'm still working on getting my own...but the TENS unit is the only thing that helps a lot with my RSD. Everything else helps a little and put together they all make it something I can deal with even if it's still bad. When I am able to borrow and use a TENS unit it makes a big difference. The pain isn't zero...but it's about half what it is without the TENS. I hope it works well for you too.
