Wow I am getting sick....

I woke up a bit ago and could barely breathe, I went right into major anxiety, so I got up, took a migraine pill for the throbbing pain in my head and two .5 lorazepams for the severe anxiety. I feel AWFUL. NOW I know what it means to be afraid to sleep. I am going to try but I am really scared about breathing.

On the good news front things are looking up, Jackie had a awesome Halloween and we're looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas soon. I'll write more in the morning. WIsh me luck sleeping.

hmmmm.... do you mean you are getting a cold?

Good to see you Pam! :)

Sorry about this breathing/anxiety dealy, ugh.

i am a bit confused....

which came first, the chicken or the egg? i mean, was it apnea, resulting in scare/anxiety attack, or could it have been a primary anxiety attack?

do you need to have your cpap checked/calibrated? or are you getting a cold (you mention 'getting sick') and that is making it hard to breathe?

wellllll.... i hope the migraine resolves, and that you can breathe ok, and that you manage to sleep well after all. ;)

glad y'all had a good halloween and are looking forward to the upcoming holidays.

(((hugs)))

Dear Pam,

Sounds like a scary episode!!!

Respiratory problems are very common this time of year esp. for people with allergies and/or asthma.
You have a cpap? Maybe waking up with that level of anxiety could def. have been apnea made worse from asthma? It sounds like Waves may be right.

I hope this was a one-time thing & you fel better soon!

Kay

Thinking of you Pam
This change in the weather has been brutal, DD has had heck of sinus head pain, now huge clearing out issues. Her fever passed now, sleeping finally. I hope that you are feeling better by now too.:grouphug:

Thanks everyone, I did manage to get back to sleep but it wasn't easy, I felt like a turtle on its back even on my side. The pressure was awful. It's almost gone now though, so it's all good. Jackie hasn't caught it either, though I think he had it to begin with and I caught it from him, he didn't get it badly. My tdoc is retiring. I am kinda floundering about it, because it seems whenever we get to the business of helping me things change andI have to get used to someone new all over again. *sigh* SO I am just gonna go with it and NOT let it bother me like it did the last time I had to switch tdocs due to unforseen circumstances.

Not much else going on, Jack is still vaping so that's good, hes gone four days now without a cigar! I am so proud! :D

hello bizi

Hi bizi, have not been in touch with the site as I have developed some other troubles. My thyroid is full of nodes, and I am going through alot of testing. The MRI for my surgery to my cervical spine picked it up. My son had cancer of the thyroid just three years ago, (36 yrs old) so right now I am worried. Does anyone here have the knowledge to read lab results. I have them, but can't decifer them. ginnie
