ALS Spotlight Award goes to staff writer

Leo Greene, whose fight against ALS - Lou Gehrig's disease - has been chronicled in The Sun and Daily Bulletin since summer, received the ALS Association Greater Los Angeles Chapter's Spotlight Award on Thursday.
The award is given to those who help increase ALS awareness and educate the public about the disease. Greene, whose "Leo's Story" site on www.dailybulletin.com includes columns, videos, photo galleries and ALS informational links, was diagnosed with ALS in August.

The Daily Bulletin was a co-recipient of this year's award.
