hello all

I am looking for any help I can get. First off I don't like to go to the Doctors office but about 3 years ago I was having problems with my left side I could be walking along I my leg and ankle would just give out then I went literally blind in my left eye. OK so I went to the Doctor he asked if MS ran in our family yes it did so he sent me to a Neurologist she gave me some kind of ept test looking into a screen. The Neurologist said that the test giver did something wrong but I did not have MS. Now I don't want to seem like a hypochondriac but some days I am tired beyond belief started to get pins and needles in my extremities slurred and slow speech weakness in my muscles vertigo still falling down and blurred vision in left eye.Can anyone tell me how to get this across to my Doctors they seemed to be bother by all this my Neurologist spent a total of 15 seconds going over my results does anyone else have this problem? I don't want to have any type of illness but I would like to know whats going on. Thanks for any help I need to get to this diagnosed before I go nuts.

Hello Micko and welcome to NeuroTalk.

I really don't know of anyone who LIKES to go to the doctor but sometimes it's a necessary evil.

Maybe your dealing with MS....maybe not but you obviously have something going on and IMO it's time to find out what your dealing with.

There are many things that can have similar symptoms to that of MS. Testing is required.....Bloodwork, MRIs, possibly a Lumbar Puncture (LP) and more.

Again.....:welcome_sign:
