Buzzing in head, help me I'm in hell

Hi, I'm the new guy here. I have been suffering for a year with this horrible weirdness and suffering. I have had every test done known to mankind.

I wake up, feel fine. By noon my head is buzzing like I have a balace out in my head, or a fluorescent bulb in my head.

I feel uneasy, fatigued and it makes it impossible to concentrate. I'm not taking aspirin or anything like that. By nighttime it gets better. What is going on with me? The neuro says I'm nuts but it's horrible.

Welcome to NeuroTalk, Bruce.

Can you be specific about your feelings?

Do they seem in the scalp area? Or is it like tinnitus in your ears?

Do you take any medications of any kind?

Some people coming off serotonin reuptake inhibitor drugs for depression, report "brain zaps" as a side effect... It is hard to describe what that means however. These sensations can go away as the person adjusts to not having the drug anymore. It can take weeks or months.

The brain itself has no feeling...but structures around the neck, scalp, ears, face, and give the sensation of something inside not working quite right.

The shingles virus (herpes zoster) can affect the eyes, face, neck area or scalp, and this virus can cause various pains when activated.
