Intermittent pain and SGB?

I have confirmed RSD in my lower left leg which may have spread to my right arm. The pain in my arm is only intermittent occuring only 2 to 3x a week. My PM has scheduled me for SGB tomorrow to determine if the RSD has in fact spread or this is a seperate issue. How will I know if the SGB works if I am not having pain when I have the block?

Hopefully by a change for the better in the frequency, duration or intensity of your upper extremity pain as compared to how it was before the SGB. I would guess it would take a week or two to decide...
