OK, I'm Lost

I came to this site hoping to discuss Autoimmune Inner Ear Disease. I see there's a lot of different topics to discuss here. I know I'll find my way around but thought I'd introduce my self as a good starting point. I do belong to a site for Meniere's and am accustomed to their boards so given time, I will adjust here.

I have a number of autoimmue problems and a few mental health issues. I see they are here on board. I hope I will find a home here as I am housebound and don't have the daiy interaction that I sometimes crave. Anyway, as you can see, I'm a bit long winded so bear with me on that and I'll try to keep things as short as possible. Thanks for being here and I hope I will find someone(s) that has the disease I came a looking fer.

Hello Hollymm!

................................http://dl9.glitter-graphics.net/pub/...wnfrhb6il1.gif

Glad you've found this wonderful forum!
Having to suffer pain is certainly not fun, but hooking up with people who empathize with what you are dealing with sure makes things seem 'better' somehow.
It looks like you are finding your way around the forums.
I bounce around a few of them, so hopefully will get a chance to get to know you. I saw that you have lower extremity peripheral neuropathy....
So do I....and I am very grateful for the PN forum here. It has SO much helpful information and everyone is very caring and understanding....
I hope you are feeling at home here and I hope your pain can be kept under control.....

Truly Caring
Rae

So, as I'm understanding it so far - I get one message that I have someone posting an answer and I don't get notified again until I've read that post? I guess what I'm asking is can I get multiple posts with any given post I start or replies I've given or is it always one post at a time?

Abbie 11-15-2010 08:48 PM

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking.

I am guessing that you are talking about subscribing to threads?

From what I can see is... you would receive notification everytime someone posts to the thread or forum you are subscribed to....

I hope this helps...
:)

Nice to have you with us!

http://dl.glitter-graphics.net/pub/9...xpxvrjrsyq.gif So glad you have found us here at NT. I'm sure you will find you way around. It was a little confusing for me, and still learning some of it. But...if you want easy access to see if you have had responses to your thread, you can Subscribe to any thread by going to the top of the thread....there is a drop down for Thread Tools. Subscribe there. Then when you log in you can go to your "USER CP" which is located on the left side of the top blue bar. It will let you know which threads have a new response. Hope this helps.
