Yes, I have heard this too, before.

In fact, there is another thought.... that a viral infection during pregnancy (and perhaps vaccines), induce a cytokine reaction in the mother, which is inflammatory. This inflammatory situation attacks the brain of the fetus, and the virus goes along with it!

This cytokine connection is alarming since the current push is to vaccinate pregnant women, which in the past was always avoided!
