The Sweetest Sound

ice...sliding off the roof and crashing to the ground. Go Spring!! :D

It's 79 here and can you believe that it was 15 last Friday morning????

Alffe 02-20-2007 07:41 PM

I love that little snowman...was that a first for your guys? :D

Julie 02-20-2007 07:54 PM

First snowman. Michael did not like this weather today. He wants more snow.

Doody 02-21-2007 03:20 PM

It's 52 degrees here and I went out at lunch without a coat and loved it.

My driveway and sidewalk that I haven't been able to shovel are becoming more manageable and by tomorrow, after the RAINS come through, hopefully the snow will be off my sidewalk.

Howsumeber, it's only supposed to be 38 degrees tomorrow.

I can't get my filthy car washed because every time I go there's a huge long line and I don't have the patience to wait. I don't remember what color it is anymore and can't tell because it's so dirty.

Alffe 02-22-2007 07:51 AM

 it doesn't sound quite as sweet this morning..the wind is howling and makes the back door bang. Also blowing icicles off the roof so I'm afraid everytime Cooper goes outside he'll get hit. (Now what is the liklihood of that happening? ) :p

The snow has melted just enough over the new septic system that the dirt is reappearing  and I think I must be getting punished for something because...~sigh~ I hate to even mention this because of my previous "bushes" experience.........take a deep breath Alffe....

We have a lot of old trees around our house and barn...so we have a friend, who owns a tree trimming business..come and trim when we need him.

Our very tall bushes were starting to bend over the road so we asked him to come trim them while we were gone. He cut them down to about two feet..nothing but a long row of stumps left. :( :(

Mr.Alffe is really tired of listening to me ***** about it.....I can hardly wait until our "friend" comes to get paid.

Doody 02-22-2007 09:31 AM

OMG Alffe, not again! First your neighbors. And what WERE you guys thinking when you told the neighbor, oh sure, trim the bushes.

I saw them and it was awful! He may as well have just dug the whole row of bushes and trees up! I was mad for you when I saw it!

Wish I was there with you when your friend shows up.

I don't cut trees, but I'd climb mountains for you friend...(or learn to cut trees, whatever supported you)
David
