Glad I found this site!
I want to take my 25 year old daughter to a Dallas Cowboy game.she loves them and I wasn't sure if she could fly! Her vp shunt is in good working order no revisions or troubles since 95. She's had no trouble driving with many different altitude changes. Glad to find this place where I can ask questions.

Hello Fuzzy and WELCOME to Neurotalk!!
I see you have found your way to our Hydrocephalus Forum. As far as flying... I have a friend that has a shunt who flys but I imagine no two people with shunts are the same... I would suggest maybe contacting her doctor and asking if it is safe for her to fly and what precautions should be taken if any. She's lucky to have you as a parent... wish my parents would take me to see the Cowboy's :winky: Please feel free to roam around the boards... join in anywhere. Help others where you can... Ask questions when you need to. I hope to see you around the boards! :) Abbie |
