Thanksgiving ANYONE!
 

Hi,

It is a holiday from work. All good.

Hubby wants to invite a friend over whose 20 something son has just moved out of the house. I'm going to ignore the two of them and let them have their own fun while hubby cooks something for the two of them.

I might go to a move (For Colored Girls perhaps)
and / or
get my girlfriend to walk on the boardwalk at the beach with me.


What else is happening?

We are going out to eat. ANd probably having a lunch with Mother in law.

But one son and family is joining for Thanksgiving. The other is
going to her families.

I have already posted our menu somewhere....just the 5 of us for dinner at our house...may have 2 1/2 extra at the last minute though...there will be plenty of food.
going for a hike the day after...supposed to be in the 40's then burr! it was 80 today!

I made cranberry sauce...it was so easy!
boil one cup of sugar and one cup of water add 3 cups of cranberries and boil until they all pop open about 10 minutes.
voila!:D
It tastes just like the canned stuff! lol:rolleyes:

I will keep a eye on that recipe. Its something my mom would like.

It was so simple the recipe was on the bag(3 cups) of fresh cranberries,
I discovered that I like warmed cranberry sauce:wink:

Just finished ironing the linens and setting the table, I learned to set it early from my mother, she entertains often I just pretend to every few years or so.

pumpkin pie is cooling.... running to maurice to pick up a fresh turducken and hopfully some corn bread dressing! wish me luck!:)

Ummmmmmmm...I'm salivating! :D

Well the turducken is in the fridge and I was able to get some
jalepeno cornbread crawfish stuffing/dressing!!!!!!!
The guy said it was his favorite!
so excited about that!:D
