ssdi and ssi back benefits

I received a letter saying I was approved for ssi and ssdi from the medical benefits from 8/8/08 to 6/30/10 but for no future benefits. It said it was now forwarded to the local office for approval of non-medical benefits. Does anyone know exactly what that means and how long it takes?
I will have to hire a lawyer for my future benefits, I'm sure.

Call your local SS office & ask them. Might as well get the correct answer from the horses mouth! ;)

Apparently, you had significant medical improvement in 6/10 and you no longer were severely disabled.

Generally, 60-90 days.

thats according to social security. If you have the documentation or feel you are still not able to work you would have to appeal.
