Myer's cocktail

I have a friend with Lyme who says when she gets one of these (it's an IV drip of mega-vitamin C, B, and some other stuff) she feels great for several hours...then it wears off and she's back to where she was. But the fact that she has such an improvement makes me wonder.

Has anyone here tried one of these and if so, with what effect on their PD?

I've known people who have had these IVs and they love them.

Some of them have glutathione in them, and if you decide to do it, ask to make sure you get that too.

The Meyer's cocktails vary, and may also have magnesium added.

Make sure your supplier (compounding pharmacy or whatever) is a good one. If you search the net you will find poor suppliers of these and discussion of that.

Some people cannot absorb nutrients well. This may be due to inflammation of the GI lining with Crohn's or gluten/celiac issues. So the IV's can be very helpful for patients with malabsorption.
