Neuro Optho said palsy in left eye

Wanted to share this with you all and see if anyone has comments/ experience. I had to read the full report from the univeristy about my eyes for tomorows eye appointment. I do not remember them placing the reason for my double vision on anything but the myositis. In the report tho they are saying "the pattern of ocular deviation is suggestive of a small left CN VI palsy which doesnt require intervention. My eye doc here said if it wasnt MG that this is what it was 6th nerve palsy from diabetes or something. I dont have diabetes.

This statement by the university was after the line that says "there is no evidence of MG" which I disagree with because of the injection test. The main eveidence to them is that in their mind I didnt pass the prostigmine injection test. This is the main thing I will discuss with the eye doc tomorrow or both as I am seeing the optho that diagnosed the MG and my eye surgeon for my right eye cataract. I noticed that they did not say that the palsy/double visiion came on suddenly the weekend I had the bad flare in March during with other MG symptoms got worse too.

I am putting a link here about 6th nerve palsy and what it is associated with besides MG. http://www.mult-sclerosis.org/6thnervepalsy.html

What ever this is it sure isnt mild since I still cant drive and move my eyes horizontally left and right normally which is why it hits hard for driving. In the materal it said this is the type of movement it does affect. Now unfortunately the muscles are inflammed again. It has come back, the mysositis part which they also diagnosed, as my vitamin D has plummeted with no tanning the last 2 months it. I radically increased my tanning and it went away. I am not sure how the myositis and the palsy issue affect each other and such. I just want to drive again.

Oh, I wanted to share that a friend suggested to me to call the state disability office to see if they could advocate or help in some way around the failure of the docs at the university. I called and did get a suggestion to call the organization for the blind. It could get me software for my computer to help see or even talk to it among other things.

I remembered that a fella at another group had gotten some help this way.
