the beauty of double vision
In attempts to keep my sanity this week before testing on friday, I just want to note that with all the little lights, this is a particularly beautiful time of year to have double or blurry vision. ;-)

Nan, It's nice to see things in a different light (no pun intended)
Good luck on Friday, it's only a few days away! Rachel |
What a hoot! I was thinking the same thing. We get to see twice the lights as others see. We are blessed. I always try to put a positive twist on things. I have lost 17 pounds since my MG started 3 months ago and my wife really struggles to lose one pound.

I had just the opposite problem with Xmas lights and my double vision. We went to a festival of lights display and all the lights overwhelmed my eyes. I lasted about 10 minutes and then couldn't look any longer and had to get out of there.
I'm glad some of you have been able to enjoy the lights of the season. |
Kathy,
to be honest, the only lights i have dealt with thus far are the ones on my tree and on one doorframe. Not sure what a whole mess of them would do to me, either.. sorry you got caused some pain. been pushing to work more ( gotta keep the job...), which means staring at computer more, which means vision has been much worse at night... trying to find some humor in this whole mess to keep sane ;-) |
you gave me a little smile here..........thank you

You have a great attitude. We actually have these cardboard, Christmas glasses, they are like 3D glasses except they aren't. Anyway, you are suppose to put them on and look at the Christmas lights and when you do you see angels. If you move them up and down it looks like the angels are flying. I'm guessing if you looked through them you'd see a lot of beautiful angels. lol
