for those of us who have been saying this for years, based on personal experience with family, it is some consolation to actually see a study like this vindicate our "anecdotal evidence"

But people do not want to hear about diet. It is easier to be handed a pill. And no pharmaceutical rep will be going to the doctor offices to teach them to suggest diet change. Until eliminating the sugar can be done in a pill form - forget it. It is "too hard." I have heard that from so many adults. School environments don't make it easy either.

I think people do want to hear about diet. I just wish the medical community would look at the whole person rather than as bits and pieces.
