A new pain/feeling ?
Hello,
For the last three days I have had a "pinging" sensation in my right collerbone area, sort of an electrical shock feeling..... I can't figure the rhyme or reason, like with my breathing pattern, just seems to comes every 1/2 minutes......(FYI) My right side TOS is the worst. Has anyone else felt this before? Thanks for your time, Ann |
hyper nerve activity
Ann,
It maybe the inflamation of the brachial bundle shooting a misfire of activity. From this picture you an see where the nerve bundle of the brachial plexus right under the collar bone. when nerves are hyper, inflamed from compression they can give many pain responses and symptoms. http://www.bartleby.com/107/Images/large/image808.gif just thinking and brainstorming. Ann,
Hi, hope you're hanging in there! Is this happening constantly? or in waves of several hours? I've unfortunately experienced what you're talking about. I don't remember when it started for me, but it's definitely what DiMarie described. I think of them as a misfire. I get at least a few on my good days, not just in one spot anymore. They bounce around my arms, neck, etc. I can tell a flare's coming on when they start happening more often, bouncing around faster/multiple spots at once... Sorry for the short, vague description, baby's napping and I've got a ton to do before my wife gets home! Just wanted to check in with everyone! I'll try to write more later/tomorrow! marabunta Quote:

Hello, It's been constant for 4 days...just won't go away. I do see Dr. avery in a few days to see if a can get the Minor Pectorial procedure done....I might be his first? Not sure if he thinks it's right for me...I hope so. I sure would like some relief. Does anyone know how long the recovery is for that prodcedure, can I drive right away? Thanks Ann |
