Just "Stuff"

Awfully glad we took the train to the windy city...their airport was closed for two days due to high wind, fog and freezing rain. Freezing rain hurts when it hits your face at those speeds. :o

Josh Groban was wonderful! The special effects were almost overwhelming....and it was LOUD but then I am old. BJ, I think you will love it.

Sat night, at 6:30, there were fireworks over the river...before the freezing rain began and that was fun to watch from our windows. When we came out of the concert...they had blocked off the street due to ice..no cabs and people were falling down right and left trying to make it to the line of buses.

It's nice to be home....hope everyone is safe and sound. :grouphug:

i'm glad you made it home safe and sound.

we had strong dust and dirt filled winds here saturday. it was weird. ever 400 flights canceled. naturally hubby and were outside doing yard work when it hit. cough cough. still have dust in mungs.;)

so sunday we decide to tackle more outside stuff. planted some pretty flowers make suire all the leaves and any dead branches are trimmed. making for better street appeal. :)

hubby and grandmonkey were at the side of the house raking up some leaves. boy did the wind blow some in. grandmonkey is standing under our big china berry tree. he says "something wet hot my head...is it raining?" um nope....bright red china berries attract LOTS of birds. poor little guy got crapped on. he laughed and laughed. all the way to the shower....

:ROTFLMAO: oh my Curious.....so glad lil monkey handled it that way:D

Alffe, I read the other day that Josh Groban has been in my birth country, South Africa and is recording ( or has finished recording) a very different sounding collection inspired by the music he discovered there.

Glad you enjoyed the concert and made it home safely with all that icy stuff....brrrrrrrr
