hello
Hi all
I am a unit clerk at the local emergency room. I love what I do. Lately I have been experiencing weakness in my legs that is accompanied by the intense feeling of a sense of my muscle just having wood in them. I loose my balance and fall into the wall. my upper body is ok-not near as bad and it catches me when i am falling. I feel so weak and and always exhausted. My cervical and brain mri were unremarkable. I am scared at how fast this is progressing. It came on so fast. What are your thoughts? I was originally diagnosed with Fibro due to the fatigue and always being tender. have any of you had this before? |
Welcome radarmomma. I am sorry, but I have no idea at all in how to even direct you for information. Does your doctor have any idea what may be the cause of the problems?
I am not familiar with fibro, but have read many posts where others have experienced sudden weakness in legs and they blame their autoimmune disease. Have you tried the fibro forum here? http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum12.html Hope you find an answer soon. |

[thank you for the websites. I will look into them. I am just so scared right now. I worked last night and no matter what I did i kept loosing my balance. I was there for thirty mins and could barely walk by then. I was very tired and my legs felt like noodled cement. Is this what most of you are experiencing? I saw my PCP and she wanted me to get a sooner apt with my neuro (of which I have been seeing for dizziness). so i see her on tuesday. How should I approach the apt? Do i bring up MG or do I let her do her workup and go from there. I do not want to seem like a crazy person that researches like crazy to "self diagnose". Working in the medical field I know how much doctors hate this....
