Parkinson's disease study releases early results
Posted 5 hours 14 minutes ago An Australian-first study being conducted in the Shoalhaven has found Parkinson's disease sufferers can benefit from community based neurological nursing. The study by Parkinson's Australia and funded by the federal government could lead to the development of a national network of specialist nurses serving in rural and remote communities. More than 140 sufferers of the degenerative neurological condition have signed-up to the study since it started early last year in Nowra. |
