Aneurysm Coiling & Stent
 

Has anyone had this procedure and could share your story? I'm getting ready to undergo the procedure and was hoping someone would have statistics of success? I'm getting the Cadmon stent and haven't had much luck finding data on long term effects/success.

I'd appreciate any information you may have.

Replying because I happened to see your post while on the way to another forum. You don't say where the aneurysm is located. Think that the brand or type of stent might depend on where the aneurysm is.

My husband had an abdominal aortic aneurysm open surgery repair 2-1/2 years ago but would have to ask his surgeon what type it was. Have an office visit with him on January 31.

I tried to find Cadmon and also had no luck.
