I just received an email from a friend of mine in Virginia. It's about a new bill that has been presented to congress.

SOCIAL SECURITY CHANGES: BENEFITS FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS IN THE US

It does not matter if you personally like or dislike Obama. You need to flood his e-mail box with e-mails that tell him that, even if the House passes this bill, he needs to veto it. It is already impossible to live on Social Security alone. If the government gives benefits to 'illegal' aliens who have never contributed, where does that leave those of us who have paid into Social Security all our working lives?
I suggest sending an email or creating a petition and email it to the address below demanding that this bill be vetoed.

I stand corrected and I apoligize. I just got very PO'd when I first saw it. It has been noted all over the web that this is an internet rumor. Several senators voted yes on it but the bill was stopped before it got to congress.

I'm kind of chuckling......I read it and thought it was odd that I hadn't heard anything about it and was thinking of googling it, but decided to see if anyone else commented first......way to go Jomar !
