I feel like a rechargeable battery
 

Does anybody else feel this way? I sleep, then about 2-3 hours later I am drained again. I go back to sleep (this is when I charge myself up) then repeat it again. I feel like that movie Groundhog Day, where that man kept waking up every morning and the same thing happened to him every day. He couldn't stop it. Exact same thing. That's funny because groundhog day is a couple of days away.Lol
I want to clean up good around the house, I start out fine, then my eye starts drooping, my whole body starts feeling weak and I have to go lay down. It is so frustrating and embarrasing for me. I feel like someone will come and visit and think how bad a housekeeper I am or that I am being lazy. I feel like my disease has progressed despite the medicines. I know that it could be worse at least I can get up for those hours. Just seems like the quality of life has gone down the drain. Well Let me go charge up my duracell. write soon. Love Barbara:hug:

I know what you mean! I can push through a time of feeling great (and doing lots of stuff) - - then I'm a sad sack. And nothing but total rest/sleep helps.

Barbara, If you can find a way to keep that battery recharged, let me know. I think mine needs replacing cause it won't charge up anymore. ;)

I most certainly will, If only I could get some of my Autistic grandson's energy in a bottle I would share it with all of us.

This is my life with MG...I spend more time sleeping/napping/resting than awake and active.

The rechargeable battery is a great comparison to MG, my battery needs lots of recharge time and loses energy quickly.

I'm trying to recharge right now!! I was going to dust and vacuum today, but I went to the supermarket to get a few things before the ice storm heads my way. So between the cold damp air and the shopping itself I'm pretty much done for the day. So now I'm staring at the dust bunnies instead of getting them taken care of. I guess they will have to wait until tomorrow.

OOPS!! I just remembered I needed to get AA batteries at the store.....Brain Fog!!

I was trying to put some humor on MG. But somehow I Think it describes most of us to the T. I thought I was in worse shape than most. Well at least our batteries can be recharged. So okay fellow MGER'S LETS CHARGE........

I'm with the rest of you...I spend 3 days charging, and a few hours draining and repeat.
