I believe that Addy.... When my job at the MOthers Day Out closed it was less than a month that i got the one i'm at now. And i truly believe this is what i should have been doing all along. :)

Go, David Go!!! And if that job doesn't work out, there are plenty more out there for you. There's a wonderful expression that comes from golf: "Miss 'em, quick." In other words, if you make a bad play, don't sit around and worry about it -- move on to the next one.

Hoping the job works out for you -- but if it doesn't, again, it wasn't meant to be. The reason may be obscure at present, but it will later reveal itself. Tom

Sorry to hear it wasn't for you, David. Thinking back, I NEVER got a job I applied for. Not once! It was still worth going, however, because somebody was in the room who remembered me and either hired me or referred me to someone else. Strange how that works ... but it does. Hopefully, you'll experience The Grapevine Effect. (Make that Affect if you're bored and want to crank up a grammar dispute).

Tom

David,

Focus on the present.
Be sincere.
Trust Yourself.

Above are the words I wrote on a post-it note (do you have those sticky notes in the UK?) about one half hour ago!

I decided I should post it in my bathroom somewhere... I want to keep reminding myself of the positive.

I recently started a new job... another opportunity for change and adventure.

The support we get here is wonderful, isn't it? :grouphug:
