Bleeding

I have had RSD for 11 years. My foot gets very red at times and has white spots on them. They usally go away after awhile. This time one of the spots popped open and clear liquid came out. I called my Dr he is on vacation and his nurse said to wrap it with gauze and it would dry up. When I took the gauze off it took some skin with it now it is bleeding a little. Has anyone had this happen to them? My Dr. will be in on Wendsday I just want to know if its normal for the ulcers or whatever they call them to break open. It has never happened before. I am new to forum and I am sorry I did not introduce myself. Pain takes over a lot. I am Jim I use duramjames as my name. Can anyone give me some idea about this?

Jim,
My CRPS is in both my legs from the hip/buttocks to the end of my toes. I too have problems with the affected area turning red/purple with white spots. The white spotting started in the last year, however I have never had the white spots pop before. I know that my CRPS has affected my legs oxygen saturation percentages, as on a good day my legs have only 70% oxygen saturation so I assumed the white spots were related to that issue but sounds like my hunch is way off base. Can you please keep me posted about how this issue works out? Good luck and I hope you get some answers as to why that is happening.
Sarah
