Help!

I have a friend who suffered aglodsytrophy after breaking his ankle in a fluke accident. After several months of rehab, he got to the point where he was roughly 80% better. Then, unexpectedly, his physiotherapist made a terrible mistake during rehab and in one moment erased all of his progress as his excruciating pain returned immediately. She apologized, but the damage was already done. He went from being almost able to walk after 7 months on crutches to being bedridden immediately. He is left with despair.

He is considering sympathetic blocks and masotherapy. If anyone has any input, experiences, reflections, information, advice or anything whatsoever to say on these therapy options, please, PLEASE reply. I would be very grateful. Thank you.

Sympathetic blocks are a good place to start.....the sooner the better, so I would think he should stop considering and get an appointment. SGB's (my issues are neck to L arm) helped some of my symptoms.

I've never heard of mesotherapy for RSD, so I really can't comment on that.
