Accidentally swung my head back quickly, and finger swelling
Anyone ever do this when cold? I accidentally swung my head back quickly from the cold (I never do that anymore of course).
Any idea how long it takes to feel better after a minor thing like that, or is it minor? Thanks for your patience. I feel I can't discuss this offline anymore w/o people getting mad at me. Also, my right forefinger & thumb are swollen & stiff. Over 4 weeks ago I jammed the thumb enough to give me nausea. I can bend w/o pain, but drawing, mouse clicking, & video games (budget solo entertainment)? Arthritus? I don't know if PCS is deleying the healing- Thanks again. |
PCS has no impact on healing the rest of the body. Your finger joint injuries will take quite a while to heal. By the time the soft tissue heals, you will then need to rehab the joint to be flexible. Believe me, as one who has made his living for 40 years working with his hands, I have been there. One of my finger injuries was soooo painful that I could not focus to see. I have cut finger and jammed or smashed them. I even cut a finger off. The joint and nail injuries are by far the most painful and longest to heal.
I am confused by your comment <I accidentally swung my head back quickly from the cold>. Regardless, it can take me two weeks to recover from a head jerk or quick movement. |
OK. Thanks for the info.
