Animal abuse at the slaughterhouses

From what I've seen on Youtube, it seems that every slaughterhouse has employees (and their supervisors) that abuse (or whitness) animals unnecessarily as they get slaughtered. Sometimes, it looks like they are not qualified with the equipment or not knowledgeable about animal suffering; but for the most part, as a common denominator, it looks like they "malpractice" deliberately, and they seem to enjoy it, and they need to take it out on the animals who are still alive, screaming and giggling, being plucked or skinned or cut apart with blood gushing all over... My feel is that the slaughterhouses attract individuals that already have a predisposition to accept all that, as if they were deranged and suffered from some neurological problems... And of course, on our part, we keep buying meat at the supermarket as if nothing was wrong with it... People don't want to know either about that abuse going on but everytime they purchase, they are saying "yes" (they are simply part of it) 'cuz our society is in denial... They say "it takes two to tango". But going back to the animal abuse in the slaughter houses, these workers, are they "ill" in the first place or we (the money making system) give them the tools to "become ill"?

I buy my meat locally from the local farms here. Grass fed raised with loving hands, and we personally know that man that does the butchering.

I buy organic when I can, or locally when I can.
