OT Vent against felines
 

I love my cats dearly but right now I'd cheerfully like to wring their furry little necks or more accurately, stuff a couple of corks in the 2 of them. Seems they weren't too happy with all the people coming in today for all the prep of taking care of Mom & the animals while I'm gone for my week of surgery. Little twerps apparently decided that my bed was better than their expensive Littermaid litter boxes. Was just going to get into bed and smelled that distinctive eau de cat pee perfume. Pulled back the comforter and a quarter of my bed was soaked. The little twerps had apparently snuck off thru the day to do it multiple times. Had to strip everything down including the first layer of memory foam top (and I have no clue how the heck I'm gonna get that cleaned, deoderized, and dry in time before I leave for surgery). I don't even have extra sheets to put on as I'd just stripped it down and remade it & haven't gotten a chance to wash the previous ones. Those cats better be very grateful I'm not into fur coats. GRRRRRRRRR! :mad: Sorry for the vent, just had to get that off my chest and the primal scream I'd like to do right now would wake my mother up and I don't need that extra bit of stress on top of everything else. :eek:

maybe better to leave the bed covered with a plastic sheet while you are gone....assuming people will continue to come in and out.

Oh ES lady that has to be a major ready to chock them feeling. I used oxyclean to neutralize accidnets my old 20+ yr old cat had. If none on hand, I read listerine neutralizes.

Hope something helps, throw a comforter or afgaan over the bed to get some rest tonight, anything to keep you comfy and warm.
Unless you ahve a nice couch.

Instructions
STEP 1: Blot stain immediately with paper towels, absorbing as much fluid as possible. STEP 2: Sponge stain with cold water. STEP 3: Blot again with paper towels. STEP 4: Mix solution of 1 tbsp. white vinegar and 2 cups warm water. STEP 5: Dab vinegar and water solution on stain. Test the vinegar solution on a piece of fabric that is hidden from view - under the cushion or on the backside of the furniture.
