I need a new mattress - anything help with PN/RLS?

Hey, I'm just looking for a community of folks who have some of the same symptom's as I have. I have PN as a diagnosis and RLS, but I have a question mark on the RLS as my primary symptom is my legs feeling warm at night (not burning, just warm and uncomfortable)....does anyone else get that?

So I've been lamenting over ordering a new mattress since my symptoms mostly disturb my sleep. I've been on gabapentin for 4 years (400mg before bed) and its the only thing that lets me get more than maybe 2 hours of sleep/night.

Other symptoms: stabbing-shocking pains; crazy itchy legs; buzzing (vibration) feeling in bottom of feet; and a small tremor in my thumb. My symptoms, thankfully, are very mild so far. Getting sleep is my biggest concern.

I just ordered a 100% natural latex mattress. I doubt that my mattress is the cause of my symptoms, but I figure, if I get rid of the foam laden, chemical soaked bed, I will have at least ruled it out.

Anyone here have more relief with one kind of mattress over another? I'm avoiding visco foam mostly because of the warm legs thing. I'm thinking that the warm foam will agrivate that.

Thanks,
Kristin
