grounding products earthing sheets
hi friends,
a few months ago a few people were trying the grounding earthing products...i was just wondering how everyone was feeling and if they noticed significant body/pain changes? thanks Lori |
One of our PN members is working with this earthing concept...

I am sleeping SOOOOOOOO much better with my sheet Lori. I also find my recovery time seems to be better.....as in, if I overdo it and get into a pain flare, the severe pain doesn't last for days. Unfortunately, the overwhelming fatigue still keeps me in bed after a flare, but I'm sleeping instead of writhing in pain.
I'm a little brain foggy right now, so I hope that I explain this part right.....the book talks about how if your body is a total trainwreck (like ours), that you can have worse fatigue or symptoms while it tries to ground you. So maybe my sleeping problem is that. Or the fibro. Or the catching up for 6.5 years of only sleeping one hour at a time...... :winky: I'm still at a "very strong recommend" on this one. To the point where I take the smaller pad with me to use when I am away from home. |
I know the sheets are expensive, but a good intro might be a grounding pad meant for computer use like this one..... $21.77 with free shipping on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/Cables-Unlimited...item4156bf6844

Earthing
Well, I'm giving this a go now. Have had my small mat for 4 nights and while too soon to form a verdict I am prepared to believe that they may be something in this.
I sleep on it so my legs are in contact with the mat all night. I have been busy on the PC and getting quite sore, but so far the pain has been going overnight, whereas it usually persists for days. Pain levels rise and fall so I have to wait several weeks before deciding, but so far so good. I'll be especially keen to see if my sleep patterns improve. |
Good luck with it Peter !
For me, I can't say I see a difference in my pain levels, which are usually closely tied to my activity levels, but I DEFINITELY sleep much better when grounding. I recently had a 'science experiment' experience with my grounding bed sheet. With Hurricane Irene, we lost power for a week. The first night, my two teenage sons were messing around in my bed....we were reading and playing games by flashlight and candles. My comforter, sheets, and pad all landed on the floor. I didn't put the grounding sheet back on because I figured it wouldn't work d/t our power loss (my son has since explained to me about grounding and electricity....that the grounding connection remains intact even with power loss) I tossed and turned all week....couldn't stay asleep when I finally fell asleep, etc. The sheet is back on now and I am sleeping much better again. I'm a believer ! |
