Does anyone know what non-specific foci of T2 abnormality within the subcortical white matter bilaterally means?

Subcortical white matter is in the brain, actually. I have some lesions there and have seen similar wording on at least one MRI report. It isn't a typical location for MS lesions. They are non-specific because they can be caused by various things and they will have to look at your clinical presentation, other lab tests, etc. to rule things in or out.
