Help!

hello all. I have just been diagnosed with erythomyalgia. tHis all began about 6 months ago. the femoral arery in my left leg has shut off and am going on collateral blood flow. i have had several surgeries but always within 6 moths the artery occludes again. NOw my foot will turn beet red and feels like a volcano ready to erupt. Sometimes only a certain part of the foot hurts like now the left side of the left foot behind the little toe. THe pain is excrutiating. my pain doctor prescribed a topical cream with gabapentin in it. I also take 30mg. ms contin. All this has little to no effect. i understand only 1 in 100,000 are affected by this awful condition. does anone out there have this too? do you have any advice for the pain?

Hi Hon.

Just wanted to say welcome, and I am so so sorry that you have all this pain. My husband has had neuropathy for 20 years and he knows pain, believe me. I hope they can find someway to give you some measure of pain relief.

Take care,
Melody
