Those stats just let me know of my personal fortune.. I get roughly 1883 on social security a month.. I was able to collect what my dad was going to make on social security (survivors benefits) when he died, and he was a administrative judge making 120+

The SS statement booklet that you are talking about is mailed out sometime near your birthday as long as you are employed. Once you stop working, you know longer get the booklet.
