I have recently been diagnosed with axonal and demyelinating polyneuropathy. I have been doing research but I am still confused about what exactly this means for me.:confused:

I'm often in the PN [short for Peripheral Neuropathy]forums and.. I do believe that if you sit and read the various posts by folks you will know that there are folks there who understand.
Be sure to read the 'Stickies' at the top of the forum, but only after you've read a few posts in the forum. The Stickies will make much more sense then.
I have axonal and demeyelinating polyneuropaties as well, mine are complicated in that they are 'autoimmune'. Makes it a bit more complicated but, that doesn't ease or eliminate the pain or discomfort.
You will be in good company there!
