Did I do Something to my Brain?

Last night I was playing soccer, stepped infront of a guy who was about to shoot- the ball smacked my jaw/temple area at about 60mph right off his foot. My jaw hurt but is getting less sore now..but my left side of my head hurts pretty bad and I didn't know if you guys ha any suggestions? Seems like I could have ruptured something in there..

Hey Tyson - -

You who want to be a doctor should know about concussions. That's always a concern with high impact head trauma. That and hematomas. Neither good - and both requiring medical attention.

Highly unlikely you broke anything since a soccor ball is round - but if it hit your ear and you are having difficulty hearing then you could have ruptured the eardrum or fractured one of the tiny bones inside ear.

Yes your jaw could be cracked or 'sprained' or dislocated....but if you have chewed anything today without extreme pain, then your jaw is probably ok.

If you have any signs of concussion (look up on internet) - get medical attention ASAP.
