Have one, loved it dearly and took it everywhere, in case I needed a little help or didn't want people to think I was drunk. It's not for those who can't already walk pretty good without a cane.:)

I carry a folding cane in my rollator. Sounds like overkill, I know, but once I got to someone's house with my rolling walker and wanted to go between the hedge and flower beds to look at some things...the walker wouldn't fit through, and there was nothing to hold onto! Now I carry the cane, just in case.

I have one and was telling a friend about my 'collapsible cane' and she gave me a concerned look. Ah yes, folding, not collapsible I quickly corrected myself!!

champ of tangled chains again!

I have always had the patience to take a tangled up mess of necklaces, bracelets, whatever and untangle them. My kids would even have their friends bring me theirs. One of them had already been thrown away by their Mom and I untangles it. So when we were going through Mom's jewerly we came upon a big mess. Some were going to throw it away. My girls knew it was meant for me. At first I thought it was two chains, one silver, one gold. But as I finally got a gold one out, there was still more in there. Then I found out I had three still to go! After about 8 straight hours and my eys quite unfocused the last two came apart. So now I have 4 nice necklaces of Mom's to call my own that my family was ready to throw away. One of them is a very lovely cross that i will some day give to my oldest grandaughter from her Grandma Pete

I see all those folding canes in the drugstore and wonder how sturdy they are. I am thinking that it may be time to have one for a just in case. I see many pretty patterns now.

Folding canes are very stable and quite convenient. I can't find my original one so I bought a new one, it is very nice, about $40, has a white 'marble' Fischer Handle.
