Gilenya Study

There is a Gilenya study in Elk Grove, IL starting up soon. My neuro said it was ok if I wanted to try, so I am going to. They are comparing satisfaction levels with DMD's not effectiveness. They give med for 6 months. There is no placebo and it is an open study so you will know which med you are on. I saw the ad in today's Chicago Tribune. It's for RMS. If I get selected, I'll keep you posted.

Hi Mochagirl. Cool, I'm interested to read about your experience with that drug if you get selected. I used to live in Elk Grove, Elk Grove, CA though in Laguna Creek. :) I know it's different but it make me feel sort of closer to you. :winky:

I got selected for Gilenya. It's only been 2 days but I feel like a ton of bricks have been lifted off my chest. I don't feel the impending dread of taking an injection and I feel like I have a piece of my life back.:D
