Posts, Friends in error

I am getting some friends and, I think, posts, that are not mine. Not that I object, but I don't want anyone to not get their friends notices, or posts and it's confusing me. I am user Linda A. Grim, joining yesterday, 4/3/11. I started my first post with "confused newbie" and I believe I am getting mixed up with someone who posted yesterday as "I'm a newbie". Can you help with this? I won't post again until I get the okay from you. Thanks, Linda

Hi Linda

if you are getting friend requests then it is because other members are sending them to you :) No error

I am not sure what you mean by getting other people's posts? If you have subscribed to receive email notices on forums you have posted on you will get all new posts notified for that forum. If you only want notices of posts made in reply to you, you need to change the email subscription to only get replies to that thread.

The system is fully automated, and very specific, so it is not an error

hope that helps

Welcome to NeuroTalk.

I am not completely understanding your question.

I looked in your profile and see 5 posts, all from the same computer IP origin.

Your profile does not have any "friends" listed yet. But some people have looked there as "visitors".

Can you PM your notices to one of us on the team so we can look at what concerns you? PM is a private message.
click on my ID on this post and a menu box comes up, with "send a private message to" on it. Click that an a reply box comes up and you type in the message.

You can do this with any moderator on our team of your choice.
We will be glad to help you in any way.

I didn't even bother to PM you. I realized the next day that I had been confused. Really--me? See what happens when I try to think too much? I'm quite sure that everything is okay.

Thank you for your kind help.
