My new project, Nail Soup!

http://nailsoup.cyber-soup.com/

Check it out! I would love to know to know what you think. I have been working on it for the past few days and finally got it all set up yesterday. A page for a 12 step manicure is coming as is one more manicure and polish review. I have other things to photograph and write about of course so this is a new ongoing project. I hope that those in this great community don't mind one more nail enthusiast joining the ranks! LOL!!!

And for the moment my nails are Tiger Nails! Love them!

Thanks Bizi! I am tickled pink by how well it's all turning out. Very pleased it looks as good as it does. I love the logo! LOL!

OMG, thank you Pam!

My hands don't work very well anymore, but have just started painting my nails pretty recently... I always make a mess out of the skin around my nail, then sometimes take off patches of polish trying to correct it.
I love your tip to put vaseline on the skin around the nail. I'm going to try it out soon!

Thanks Kay! I am more then happy to start up the nail blog to help ladies out there with problem nails, having been there myself I know just what worked for me to get them in better shape. The vaseline tip is my favorite and I mention it more then just a couple times because it really is worth doing, and then the q-tip with alcohol to clean off the nail beds so the polish adheres only to the nail, not the skin if you make any mistakes. I just put up a FAQ's on Nail Care this morning going into depth about the three-stroke method of polish application. :D Would love to see how it works for you if you can post pics. :)

Pam, I tried the vaseline trick last night and it really worked out well!!! The mistakes came right off!
I don't know how well a pic would turn out, since I used really light polish this time. I'll send you a pic when I use a darker color, though.

I'm going to check out the new FAQ's you posted :)
Thank again!

So glad the vaselline trick worked out so well for you Kay! I am very happy hearing you are enjoying the blog too. Makes me feel good to know that you and others are getting something out of it. You bet I'd love to see a pic if you have one later of a darker color. Check out what I did this time around for a polish job last night:

It was a practice run, but they came out pretty good I think! :D

They look great!
I think that kind of design is beyond me because of my hand issues tho.... I'm lucky I can even paint them at all.

I got a lot out of the FAQs you posted- very well done!

I think I'm going to send a link to my sil- she loves painting her nails, and often changes the color every day!

Aww thanks Kay! I really appreciate that you liked the blog that much, it warms my heart to know you took a lot away from reading it. I hope you SIL enjoys it too! I love polish, should be trying out a new color tonight too. I am really glad it's coming together so well, I had a vision of what I wanted Nail Soup to be and it's really happening, very gratifying to see. :D

IF I do them tonight there'll be a new entry and pics tomorrow. :D
