Hi All

My name is Dan and I'm a young man recently diagnosed with RSD. I am about to start a series of nerve blocks tomorrow and wanted to connect with other people who have a similar affliction and hear what they have to say and what works best, as this seems to be a very confusing and poorly understood condition.

Thank you for your kind welcoming words, I will surely check out the RSD forum as I am currently in severe pain after a sympathetic nerve block yesterday in my back (L3).

Anyways thanks again for the kind welcome.

Yes Dan this is a very confusing & poorly understood condition. People have different symptoms, different reactions to medication's and different reactions to injection's. I have had 2 so far and both were different for me..go figure. If you have a good PM Dr. they will keep trying different med's and treatments to get you to a place of management, not healing. What works best for one may not be best for you. Everyone here is great sharing their personal experiences with their RSD/CRPS and treatments, but there is no guarantee for any of us, with any treatments. I have learned a great deal from folks here. Check out the website RSDhope.org it is great!!

Doing ok, had my first of 3 spinal injections last week and another tomorrow, they sort of botched the first one which caused a lot of extra back pain as they tore the tissue. Feel free to message me as I'm obv new too. Do you have RSD as well?
